Here at Dilly’s Daycare we pride ourselves on being and inclusive and diverse setting. We ensure that all staff are kind, caring and empathic in meeting the needs of the children attending.

In order to ensure your child has the most fun, educational and caring time with us, we ensure that all our staff are:

• Fully qualified at Level 2 and 3 or above
• Undertaking their level 2 apprenticeship with an approved training provider
• An Enhance DBS check has been undertaken prior to employment commencing
• References are undertaken prior to employment commencing
• Staff will undertake their Food Hygiene and Safeguarding Children training prior to employment commencing
• In line with the Statutory Guidance staff will achieve their Paediatric First Aid within 3 months of employment commencing
• They will have an awareness of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and how to implement this meaningfully
• Staff will be confident with the upkeep of each child’s daily routine and individual needs.

All children will be allocated a Key Person to ensure their individual needs are met on a daily basis, this also allows them to build up a close relationship to ensure they feel safe and secure to explore the setting.
